Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Supervision of manufacturing of Pharmaceutical production process and manpower.
- Operations of machines to get desired output and ensure that product quality is excellent.
- Liaise with the Maintenance department for proper maintenance or repairs.
- Managing, directing and organizing the skilled, semi-skilled and lower-skilled workforce working to get the maximum output.
- Planning ability to run the shift successfully with all the resources needed for the period in advance.
- Coordination with the Quality department for the required process checks to be carried out from time to time.
- Set daily / weekly / monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Check production output according to specifications
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma; Degree in a Technical, Engineering or relevant field will be an advantage.
- Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Experience in a continuous process factory or in a manufacturing factory is advantageous.
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Problem-solving skills.
