We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Legal Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the corporate secretarial matters for the company
  • review and prepare agreement and other legal documentation
  • Structuring, drafting and negotiating various transactional agreements, including license agreements, joint development agreements and professional services agreements
  • Reviewing and negotiating of large scale commercial contracts
  • Providing oversight of the Company’s contract administration processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws and other internal Company policies.
  • Evaluating new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Providing general legal advice on day to day operational matters.
  • Providing legal advisory and recommendations on industry best practices on the company’s relationship with its investors, partners, customers, suppliers, employees etc.
  • Leading engagements with third party legal advisers and advising executive management team on transactions
  • Guiding management on regulatory and compliance issues to ensure compliance with legal regulations in the industry

Qualifications

  • LLB in Law with strong academic credentials
  • At least five(5) years legal experience

Requirements & Skills:

  • Company secretarial experience, corporate commercial expertise and litigation experience
  • A generalist knowledge on all aspects of commercial and corporate law
  • Knowledge of labour law and corporate affairs is essential
  • Ability to work independently with minimal support/supervision
  • Superior oral and written communication
  • Ability to produce/review quality legal drafts
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to situations with speed and efficiency
  • Ability to work well with various business functions across different topics
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity
  • An excellent communicator and a great team player.
  • Compliance oriented, good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management, task prioritizing, and ability to multitask.

Salary Range
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
