Job Title: Chief Security Officer

Description 

  • As the Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Bedrock Residencies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents, staff, and premises.
  • You will lead a team of security professionals to implement and maintain effective security measures, protocols, and procedures to mitigate risks and protect assets.
  • The CSO will collaborate closely with other departments to create a secure environment conducive to the well-being and satisfaction of our community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and protocols tailored to the unique needs of our residential communities.
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations, including access control, surveillance, patrols, and emergency response.
  • Train, and supervise security personnel, ensuring they are equipped to handle security challenges effectively.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify security risks and vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation plans accordingly.
  • Manage security incidents and emergencies, coordinating response efforts and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Technology Integration: Utilize technology solutions such as CCTV, access control systems, and visitor management systems to enhance security effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security and privacy.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, residents' associations, and external partners (e.g., law enforcement agencies) to enhance security coordination and communication.
  • Develop and manage the security budget, optimizing resource allocation to meet security objectives while controlling costs.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in the capacity of a CSO.
  • Possess a demonstrable track record of developing and implementing security strategies.
  • Proficient in evaluating and addressing potential security threats, conducting comprehensive security audits, and overseeing incident response protocols.
  • Ideal candidates should possess a distinguished background as a retired Military or Police Officer, boasting extensive expertise in contemporary security practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Solid leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Proficient in analytical and problem-solving abilities, adept at evaluating risks, analyzing intricate security challenges, and formulating tailored solutions.
  • A strong understanding of laws, regulations, and industry standards concerning organizational infrastructure security is highly beneficial.
