We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: QC Analyst

Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine analysis of pharmaceutical samples using advanced analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectroscopy, and titrations.
  • Conduct physical and chemical testing to assess the quality attributes of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
  • Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory standards throughout testing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results and data analysis in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation issues, perform routine maintenance, and participate in equipment calibration activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development, process improvements, and quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Participate in method validation, method transfer, and stability studies as required.
  • Investigate and resolve deviations, out-of-specification results, and quality-related issues through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory updates relevant to pharmaceutical quality control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and instrumentation commonly used in pharmaceutical analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
