Job Description

• Foodies Restaurant is seeking a reliable and skilled Dispatch Rider to join our delivery team. The Dispatch Rider will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of orders to customers' locations.
• The ideal candidate should possess excellent navigation skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders promptly and safely to customers locations within the designated delivery area.
• Navigate through traffic and utilize efficient routes to minimize delivery time.
• Ensure that orders are accurately packed and securely fastened for transportation.
• Verify the correctness of delivery addresses and contact customers to confirm delivery details when necessary.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers upon delivery and addressing any inquiries or concerns professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle, including regular inspections and adherence to safety standards.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of oneself, customers, and other road users.
• Collaborate with the restaurant staff to coordinate order pickups and optimize delivery schedules.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues to the appropriate authorities and the management promptly.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license for motorcycle (and car if required) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a dispatch rider or delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with local roads, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet delivery deadlines.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying packages up to a certain weight.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
