We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Internal Control and Compliance Officer
Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Conduct regular verification of complaints with specified production processes and control
- Conduct continuous verification of compliance with specified inventory with inventory process and controls
- Regular production and inventory process checks and stock count
- Regular revenue accounts and transaction reviews and verification
- Procurements and account payable checks and audit
- Continuous monitoring of compliance with policies and procedures
- Conduct internal audit fieldwork and execution as assigned
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management
- Continuous checks on tax and regulatory compliance
- Contribute to process, policies, and procedures improvement and development
- Monitor and report on raw material processes and control
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of raw material management
- Prepare regular reports on internal audit and internal control
- Travel regularly to other regional offices for audit engagement
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND in Accounting or related courses
- Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in internal audit, control, and compliance in a manufacturing company
- Proficient in Excel, word and powerpoint
- Minimum of 2 years of Practical experience working with ERP and accounting software such as Odoo, Tally, Sage, Netsuite,SAP etc.
- ACA/ACCA/CIA added advantage, not compulsory
- Willingness to travel to other states within Nigeria required
