Maintenance / Facility Officer at Halifield Schools

Halifield School, founded in 1996, was initially situated on Salami Street, Mende until 2003 when it relocated to its permanent premises on Oki Lane, Maryland, Lagos. In 2009, Halifield commenced a secondary school which is a preparatory ground for university entry and a grooming centre for adolescents.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance / Facility Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Head of Facilities
Supervises: Facility Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake minor repairs
• Monitor contractors doing work in the school
• Check the state of all facilities on a daily basis.
• Take periodic inventory of school properties
• Write reports on maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance of all maintenance protocols among staff and students.

Key Performance Indicators

• Level of complaint on minor repairs
• Percentage of spoilage and damages
• Timeliness of reporting damages
• Turnaround time on maintenance and repairs.

Education and Work Experience

• Minimum of ND in Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or related courses
• Work experience may be an advantage but not criteria
• 5+ years relevant work experience.

Skills and Competences:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance.

Salary
N50,000 Monthly.
