Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated Fleet Management Officer specialized in vehicle maintenance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our fleet vehicles, optimizing vehicle uptime, and minimizing downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on fleet vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or safety concerns.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
  • Coordinate with external service providers for complex repairs or specialized maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repair history.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of fleet vehicles.
  • Monitor vehicle performance metrics and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies regarding vehicle maintenance and operation.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff members on best practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in vehicle maintenance, preferably in a fleet management or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment for identifying vehicle issues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N80,000 Monthly.
