They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Zamfara
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities
Project Planning:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including project scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Create project timelines, milestones, and deliverables for each project at hand.

Construction Expertise:

  • Possess specialized knowledge in road and bridge construction, including construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.
  • Oversee the construction of roads, bridges, and related infrastructure projects.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that all roadworks and bridge construction work adhere to the design specifications and meet industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Implement quality control processes and inspection.

Budget Management:

  • Monitor project costs and expenditures, controlling the project’s financial performance.
  • Address cost overruns and implement cost-saving measures when necessary.

Time Management:

  • Manage project schedules to meet deadlines and milestones.

Safety and Environmental Considerations:

  • Maintain detailed project records and documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and construction documentation
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Address any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.

Documentation and Reporting:

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or its equivalent from a reputable University
  • MBA/M.Sc. is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant professional experience with at least 5 years in a senior management role
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in roadworks and bridge construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of road and bridge construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, permits, and safety standards in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is an added advantage.
