Job Title: Superintendent Pharmacist

Location: Kudenda, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: General Manager

Role Objective

• The Superintendent Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing pharmaceutical production, quality control, and regulatory compliance within the medical manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and NAFDAC.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, including NAFDAC, to secure and maintain necessary approvals.
• Oversee the production of IV fluids to ensure compliance with pharmacological processes and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and efficacy.
• Develop and implement quality control measures and procedures.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies for product registrations, licenses, and inspections.
• Manage a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Conduct training and ensure competency of pharmacy staff.
• Monitor and analyze pharmaceutical trends and developments.

Job Specification

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (Master's Degree preferred) and registered as a Pharmacist with relevant regulatory authorities.
• Licensed Pharmacist with a minimum of 7 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory compliance.
• Thorough understanding of GMP, GDP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and Organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
