Job Summary
- The position is for our NBTE and City & Guilds UK accredited Vocational Training Institute in Abuja.
- We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Trainer to join our Professional Care Services team. As a Lead Trainer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering high-quality training programs to our caregivers and staff. Your expertise will help ensure that our team provides exceptional care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs for caregivers and staff, including orientation, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and interactive training content.
- Facilitate classroom and online training sessions, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Evaluate training effectiveness, tracking learner progress and assessing program impact.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in caregiving and professional development.
- Mentor and coach caregivers and staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure training aligns with business objectives and client needs.
- Manage training records, reports, and other administrative database to inform training decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Health Education, Training, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in training, health education, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs.
- Strong knowledge of caregiving practices, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of computer usage especially with Microsoft contents.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with online learning platforms and training technology.
- Health Education Certificate or related field.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and training analytics.
Salary
N100,000 - N300,000 / month.
