We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Adolescent & Young People Hub Cleaner

Location: Mushin, Lagos
Employment Type: Short-Term Hire
Duration: 3 months

Job Description

  • The office cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of office spaces, including restrooms, corridors, meeting rooms, classrooms, and break rooms.
  • The job entails sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and thoroughly cleaning the restrooms and other common areas.
  • The office cleaner is also responsible for restocking supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels. Regularly, the office cleaner will dust, vacuum, and empty trash cans.
  • The cleaner will ensure that the office space is presentable and inviting for employees and visitors alike.

Responsibilities

  • Keep clean the offices, kitchen, corridors, toilets, and the office environment at all times.
  • Pay attention and ensure the hygienic standard of sanitary facilities at all times.
  • Keep office rooms, surfaces, furniture, walls, doors, and windows clean and hygienic.
  • Clean the toilets and ensure toilet rolls, soaps, washing liquids, and towels are stocked when required.
  • Report on the stock status of toilet rolls, soaps, washing liquid, etc.
  • Always ensure adequate hand sanitizer and handwash in toilet wash basins.
  • Report all maintenance issues such as plumbing as they may arise.
  • Ensure the store in the office is neatly arranged and clean.
  • Clean up refrigerators, microwaves, and electric kettles in the kitchen.
  • Make sure the drinking cups, plates, and cutleries are cleaned daily.
  • Maintain the organization of paper, documents, and clean desks and offices.
  • Maintain cleanliness at the entrance of the office premises.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • School Certificate or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good time management skills.
