Willers Solutions Limited - Our client, a Plastic Manufacturing Company, is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire production process, from planning and scheduling to execution and delivery
• Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure product specifications are met
• Develop and implement production strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
• Manage and motivate production staff to ensure high levels of productivity and quality
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste
• Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

• A minimum of Bachelor's Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 - 8 years experience as a supervisor in Injection molding plant.
• Should have hands-on experience in Process setting of Injection molding machines - Milacron, Haitai, Jon Vai.
• Should have good experience to handle a large workforce.
• Should be able to do mold changes and start up the machine.
• Should have knowledge on mechanical and electrical repairs of the Injection molding machines.
• Should have knowledge on quality norms.
• Should have exposure to ERP and MS Office.
