We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Truck Driver (6 Tyres)

Location: Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of cargo, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any issues and maintain the vehicle in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of trip logs, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.
• Follow all traffic rules and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Load and unload cargo, sometimes with the help of a forklift or other equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and report any necessary repairs to the appropriate personnel.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver, with a proven track record of safe and efficient driving.
• Knowledge relevant transportation regulations.
• Strong understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willingness to travel and spend time away from home, as required by the job..
