We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Beverage Production and Processing Supervisor

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Level: Senior Officer

Job Responsibilities and Targets

  • As a production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the daily production activities, supervising production staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
  • Your leadership and expertise are required to production efficiency, production quality, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise production schedules, work flows, and staff to meet production target and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g quality assurance, maintenance and stores) to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Supervise production line workers.
  • Ensure compliance with Food safety regulations (e.g. HACCP, GMP).
  • Accurately completing all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks, monitor production process, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure a safe working environment, enforce safety policies and procedures, and investigate incidents or accidents.
  • Analyze production data, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize production efficiency, reduce waste, and maximize costs.
  • Prepare and submit reports on production performance, quality and safety metrics.
  • Regularly checking the machinery and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow
  • Implementing relevant emergency response procedures during emergency situations
  • Compiling reports about production and providing management with updates
  • Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or in any related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications will be an advantage.
  • 3 - 4 years proven experience in a supervisory role within a beverage manufacturing industry, with demonstrated understanding of production processes and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skillswith ability to motivate and inspire a diverse production team.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges on the production floor.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a fastpaced production environment.
  • Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems, food safety /HACCP
  • Ability to analyse problems, analyzeroot causes and proffer corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues.
  • Competence in Excel, Word, and Power Point is a must.
