We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Associate Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Create and / or manage financial modeling and superior quantitative analyses
  • Demonstrate proficiency in all MS Office applications, with particular emphasis on intermediate to advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint presentation development
  • Manage day-to-day project schedule, deliverables and issues to ensure that team meets critical deadlines.
  • Ability to check quality of team work before review by Managing Partners.
  • Collaborate with senior executives, working with them to develop effective strategies.
  • Recommend practical, strategic recommendations to client management.
  • Exhibit a collaborative and team-oriented spirit
  • Excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and challenging work environment
  • Provide ongoing coaching and advisory support to associates and analysts, as necessary.
  • provide team leadership in internal projects such as the training academy and portfolio asset.
  • May be assigned to play strategic roles in a portfolio assets.
  • Manage Firm and client project teams as required to complete project deliverables.
  • Work closely with Partners during all phases of project delivery.
  • Willingness to travel a minimum of 50% of the engagement

Requirements

  • MBA from a top-tier university
  • 5+ years of relevant private sector work experience post MBA, with demonstrated progressive promotion and/or achievement (consulting, business development and/or strategic development is a plus)
  • Financial services experience, especially in one or more functional areas in retail banking
  • Demonstrated leadership and/or relationship-building skills
  • Possession of outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills Aptitude for teamwork and ability to manage teams consisting of analysts, associates, managing partners and client members
  • Willingness to ‘roll sleeves’ up to complete work before deadlines
  • Ability to tackle problems from both a high-level strategic and detailed tactical lens

Practical experience in one or more of the following:

  • Strategy development or trategic planning
  • Organizational restructuring / transformation
  • Finance or business operations.
  • Business development, marketing, or sales​
