We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mining Specialist

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on mining operations, including exploration, extraction, and processing techniques.
• Develop strategies to optimize mining processes, minimize environmental impact, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate potential mining sites for feasibility and profitability.
• Collaborate with engineering and geology teams to develop mining plans and resource estimates.
• Monitor production activities, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Previous experience in mining operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mining methods, technologies, and regulations.
• Proficiency in mining software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
