We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Administrator

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the IT environment.
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software [including] peripherals.
  • Monitoring network performance and security to identify and troubleshoot any problems.
  • Performing regular backups of data and ensuring data recovery procedures are in place.
  • Upgrading existing systems and implementing new technologies as needed.
  • Responding to user inquiries and requests regarding technical issues.
  • Providing technical support to employees, such as troubleshooting software and hardware problems.
  • Creating user accounts and managing access rights.
  • Implementing and maintaining security protocols to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
  • Monitoring system activity for suspicious behavior.

Requirements and Skills

  • BSc or HND in computer science, Information Technology, or any relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience
  • A strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware (routers, switches) is necessary.
  • Experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security protocols to protect against cyberattacks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
