Medbury Pharmaceuticals is a division of Medbury Healthcare that specializes in producing high-value medications and distributing a variety of internationally acclaimed products locally. MedPharma also provides direct procurement and supply of pharmaceuticals, as well as technologically enabled vendor management inventory solutions and group purchasing services. Our products are manufactured in factories that hold CE, ISO, and TVU certifications, and are registered with NAFDAC in compliance with regulations. Additionally, our indigenous drug products are produced through contract manufacturing arrangements with experienced and NAFDAC-approved companies, and manufactured under strict hygienic conditions and GMP guidelines.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for pharmaceutical products, including inventory, sales, and expenses.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze costs related to the production, distribution, and sale of pharmaceutical products to help management make informed decisions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for pharmaceutical operations, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations specific to the pharmaceutical industry, including tax credits and deductions applicable to research and development activities.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for pharmaceutical products, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels for pharmaceutical products, ensuring adequate stock while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations specific to the pharmaceutical industry, such as the Sunshine Act and regulations related to drug pricing and reimbursement.
  • Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard pharmaceutical assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
  • Audits: Assist in the preparation for and coordination of audits by external auditors, providing documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making related to pharmaceutical product development, pricing, and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 4 years work experience.
