Dogan’s Sugar Limited was incorporated in July 2013 in Lagos, Nigeria as a European-invested company for the will to produce quality sugar products in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Logistics / Operations Manager

Location: Lagos

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the transport drivers and motor-boys and set schedules.
• Directing activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking of transportation vehicles.
• Arranging repairs and routine maintenance.
• Complying with transportation-related policies as well as safety rules and government regulations.
• Improving operational system, processes and best practices.
• Ensure all operations are carried out in a cost effective way.
• Helping the operation processes remain legally complaint.
• Ensure all transport deliveries and pick-ups are completed in a timely manner and that the department operates efficiently.
• Manage budgets and forecasts.
• Calculation of destinations, duration, time and diesel needs.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

Competency & Technical Skill Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Transport Management, Logistics or Business Management or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of transportation industry and logistics
• Ability to work well with team members and navigate stressful situations.
• Excellent leadership skills
• Must possess excellent work ethics and be able to work with little or no supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
