Bursar at Jigawa State Polytechnic

The Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse is a state government higher education institution located in Dutse, Jigawa State, Nigeria. The Jigawa State Polytechnic, Dutse was established in 2007 after the takeover of Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic by the Federal Government of Nigeria and renamed to Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic.

The Governing Council of the Polytechnic invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bursar

Location: Dutse, Jigawa

Responsibilities

• Bursar is the head of Bursary Department and he is responsible to the Rector in the general administration of the Department.
• Bursar plans, organizes, directs and co-ordinates the operations of the entire financial system of the Polytechnic.

Requirements
The candidate seeking for the post should possess any of the following qualifications:

• Candidate with Master's in Accountancy or Finance plus professional qualification with at least 15 years' post qualification cognate experience,
• A holder of a good Bachelor's Degree/HND in Accountancy or Finance with 18 years' cognate experience, plus registration with a recognized professional accounting body in Nigeria.
• Knowledge of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is an added advantage.
