Job Title: Early Years Teacher (German)

Location: Enugu

Job Description

  • We are seeking a passionate and qualified classroom teacher. The position will focus on delivering high-quality education in specific subjects within the British curriculum while applying the Montessori Principles. 

Responsibilities

  • Introduce students to the joy of language learning through immersive foreign language lessons.
  • Teach vocabulary, grammar, and cultural aspects of the German and French languages.
  • Facilitate speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities to build language proficiency.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for language acquisition.
  • Assess and report on students' progress and performance.
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and resources.
  • Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in German Language or relevant subject area.
  • 1 - 5 years work experience.
  • An NCE with good knowledge of early years may be considered.
  • Proficiency in British English
  • Experience teaching British curriculum subjects
  • Experience with the Montessori technique is an advantage
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Suite
