Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records and systems of our restaurant and lounge, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Manage and reconcile inventory and payroll
  • Assist with financial planning and strategy
  • Collaborate with management team to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1-2years of experience in accounting, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Proficient in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.Sc Accounting or related field
  • ICAN is an added advantage
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  • Knowledge of food and beverage cost control and menu engineering
  • Multilingual skills
