Job Title: Early Years Teacher - Science

Location: Enugu

Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate and qualified classroom teacher.
• The position will focus on delivering high-quality education in Science subjects within the British curriculum while applying the Montessori Principles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that Inspire curiosity and exploration through hands-on science experiments and activities
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and resources.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
• Cover topics in biology, chemistry, and physics with a focus on inquiry-based learning
• Foster scientific thinking and analytical skills among students
• Assess understanding through practical demonstrations and assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Education or relevant subject area.
• An NCE with good knowledge of early years may be considered.
• Proficiency in British English
• Experience teaching British curriculum subjects
• Experience with the Montessori technique is an advantage
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Suite
• Teaching qualification/certification.
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional attitude and commitment to education.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
