Job Title: Reconciliation & Settlement Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Provides settlement of transactions routed through various payments platforms.
• Provides resolution on all disputes arising from cards and mobile payment platforms.
• Escalates exceptions to the switch and other vendors or third parties for resolution
• Attends to customer and merchant disputes and ensure prompt resolution.
• Process and settlement of transactions initiated from account/wallet transfers, debit or credit cards and USSD and other modes across various platforms.
• Process local and international chargeback on behalf of banks as their acquirer or issuer processor for disputed transactions, in line with card scheme rules.
• Process partner banks chargeback as a co-acquirer.
• Process POS /WEB disputed transactions routed through other processors.
• Respond to re-opened claim request by the issuer, after proper investigation.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in related field.
• 2 -4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suites such as Excel.

• Understanding of reconciliation.
