Job Title: Executive General Manager (EGM) - Insurtech/E-Commerce

Job Summary

  • Our client is seeking an accomplished Executive General Manager with expertise in both Insurtech and E-Commerce domains to lead its dynamic team.
  • As an integral part of the organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, fostering innovation, and maximizing revenue growth in the Insure Tech and E-Commerce sectors.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of leadership skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of digital insurance and online retail landscapes. 

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategic Vision: 

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to drive business growth and market expansion in the InsureTech and E-Commerce domains. 
  • Develop and communicate a clear strategic roadmap aligned with organizational goals and industry trends. 
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives effectively. 

Business Development and Partnerships: 

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for strategic partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions to enhance product offerings andmarket reach. 
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including insurers, technology partners, and industry influencers. 
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes. 

Product Innovation and Development: 

  • Drive product innovation by leveraging market insights, customer feedback, and emerging technologies. 
  • Collaborate with product development teams to conceptualize, design, and launch innovative InsureTech and E-Commerce solutions. 
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth. 

Revenue Generation and Performance Metrics: 

  • Develop and implement robust revenue generation strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets. 
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of business initiatives and track progress towards goals. 
  • Analyze financial data and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue optimization and cost efficiency. 

Customer Experience and Engagement: 

  • Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring that solutions meet the evolving needs and expectations of consumers. 
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction across digital channels. 
  • Leverage data analytics and customer feedback to continuously improve the user experience and drive customer loyalty. 
  • Compliance and Risk Management: 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing the InsureTech and E-Commerce sectors. 
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and safeguard the organization's reputation and assets. 
  • Foster a culture of ethical conduct and accountability throughout the organization. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 10 years of combined work experience with a proven track record of leadership and achievement. 
  • Proven track record of success in executive leadership roles within the InsureTech and/or E-Commerce industries. 
  • Deep understanding of digital insurance products, online retail platforms, and emerging technologies. 
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and optimize operational performance. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives that deliver measurable results. 
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and performance analysis. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
