Learners Crib Consult, Our client is a professional and highly ethical new nursery school located in Wuye, Abuja. They believe in fostering the intellectual, interpersonal and holistic growth of children through various learning activities in our creche, playgroup, pre nursery and nursery classes. They also offer a weekend and holiday club for children between 4 to 12 years old. Their aim is to create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children can explore their interests and develop important and practical life skills. They are all about imparting knowledge and impacting lives.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Swimming Instructor

Location: Wuye, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Part-time
Working hours: Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop age-appropriate swimmingcurriculum that fosters creativity, imagination, and skill development in children aged 4-12.
  • Provide instruction in a variety of swimming skillssuitable for young children, introducing basic techniques and instructions.
  • Supervise and support the children during sessions, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Organize and facilitate group swimmingactivities to encourage teamwork, cooperation, and social interaction among children.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged to participate.
  • Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Attend refresher training sessions at the office twice a month to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in virtual training sessions as required, to continuously improve skills and stay updated on best practices.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in educationor other related fields.
  • A professional certification in swimming.
  • A CPR and First Aid certification
  • Minimum of two years previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to develop engaging activities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to the needs of the program.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work with limited supervision.
