Job Title: Electrician for Kalmar

Location: Iddo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• As the Electrician for Kalmar, you will be responsible for installing,maintaining and repairing electrical systems on the kalmar.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on the kalmar
• Testing electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches.
• Conducting safety inspections to ensure the electrical systems on the kalmar comply with regulations.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems.
• Inspecting and repairing wiring, cables, and other equipment.
• Operating diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Maintaining electrical records and preparing reports.
• Installing and connecting electrical devices, such as motors, generators, and navigation systems.
• Ensuring that all electrical systems on the kalmarare working properly.
• Creating and following detailed installation and repair plans.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years proven experience
• Minimum of OND qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Ability to operate equipment
• Superior troubleshooting skills
• Strong decision-making skills that promotes safe working conditions, timely/efficient repairs, and accurate accounting of labor and materials.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Strong Knowledge of Kalmar and other heavy-duty equipment.
