Job Description

  • We are seeking to hire a dedicated and dynamic Program Officer to join our team. The Program Officer will play a key role in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and projects within our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Program Planning and Development
  • Develop program plans, timelines, and budgets in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
  • Development and implementation of grant portfolios
  • Develop grant making activities in a team-oriented way, that are aligned with organization goals
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with program stakeholders, including funders, partners, government agencies, community organizations, and program participants.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, grant proposals, and other program-related documentation for internal and external audiences.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all reporting activities.
  • Monitor program progress, evaluate outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management, project coordination, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in program planning, implementation, and evaluation, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make evidence-based recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and IT software.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
