Position Title: Logistics Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Timely preparation of import documentation and authorization for all air and sea shipmans
- Ensuring timely management of carriage for imports and exports
- Making of Form M , SONCAP Certificates etc
- Maintenance of system data requirements and ensuring integrity at all times
- Ensuring the integrity of import and export documentation such as final invoice, CCVO , MC, Packing list
- Verification of all freight invoices
- Maintenance of all records
- Must understand the Payment mode of international trade documentations: letter of credits, bills for collection etc
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable
- Have Minimum 5 years work experience in a corporate environment
- Knowledge of duty computation
- Good understanding of Nigeria Import and Export Policies
- Good understanding of import documentation required by the Importers and Shippers
- Experienced in interpreting Customs Tariffs and also managing Customs Brokers
- Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority.
- Have good knowledge of Telecommunication Equipment and HS CODE classification
- Good Customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently
- Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel and PowerPoint)
- Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology
- Self motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written,
- Must be ready for international project to the other African countries.
