Job Title: Facility Engineer

Location: Odogunyan / Ikorodu, Lagos

Summary

• As Facility Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical and mechanical engineering aspects within our facility to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of electrical and mechanical systems to identify and address potential issues.
• Plan and oversee maintenance and repair activities for all facility equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical distribution systems, and production machinery.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and optimise equipment performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Provide technical guidance and support to facility staff regarding equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for specialised maintenance and repair services.
• Participate in the planning and execution of facility expansion or renovation projects, including equipment installation and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in electrical and mechanical engineering technologies and recommend innovative solutions for improving facility operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnical, or Mechanical Engineering
• A minimum of 3 years of proven expereinc as engineer in the phamaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of refulatory guidelines, particularly cGMP.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detailed-oriented with a commitmment to quality and safety.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
