Description

• Join our Rolling Mill Operations team as a CNC Operator. Reporting to the Shift In-charge or Supervisor of the Roll Shop, you will operate CNC machines for roll pass cutting, machining, and maintenance tasks to ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform roll pass cutting and machining according to drawings.
• Understand technical parameters and machine capacity.
• Program and enter data for different pass profiles.
• Prepare rib cutting and branding on finishing mill rolls.
• Operate general-purpose machines in the roll shop.
• Conduct periodic checks and routine maintenance of machinery.
• Provide technical support and submit daily reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Implement work procedures conforming to ISO standards.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by superiors.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in hot rolling mills.
• OND / HND / BSc in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 6 - 10 years work experience.
• Knowledge of rolling processes in bar mills and reheating furnaces.
• Familiarity with roll pass design and standards for rolled products.
• CNC machining expertise and programming skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management abilities

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 monthly.
