The Jigawa State College of Education was established in April, 1976 as Advanced Teachers College Gumel. However, with the creation of Jigawa State in August, 1991, it was converted to Jigawa State College of Education on 24th December, 1991. The edict establishing the College was promulgated in 1992.
In accordance with the provision of the College (Law Establishing the College) Law No. 14 of 2012 as amended, the Governing Council of the College invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions below:
