Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Baker to lead our bread baking team and oversee all aspects of our bakery operations.
• The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of baking techniques, a creative flair for developing new recipes, and strong leadership skills to manage and inspire a team of bakers.
• As the Head Bread Baker, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of bread produced, maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen, and meeting production targets.
• You will also be involved in inventory management, cost control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for bread baking and a track record of success in a similar role, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily baking operations and ensure the production of high-quality baked breads.
• Manage and train a team of bakers, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
• Implement cost control measures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
• Conduct regular quality checks on finished products.
• Handle customer inquiries and special orders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients.
• Ensure proper maintenance and operation of baking equipment.

Education

• Graduate / Certification in Baking with proven track record.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Head Bread Baker or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Formal training or certification in baking is a plus.
• Passion for baking bread and a positive attitude.
