Job Title: Security Supervisor, DCT

Location: Obajana, Kogi
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring that DCT environment remains secure.
• The Security Supervisor supervises the security team and also maintain and enforce vital security protocols.
• The Security Supervisor plays a pivotal role in identifying and addressing potential risks, collaborating with various departments, and strategizing to neutralize threats.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise security officers and guards.
• Attend meetings with Security Managers to determine operational needs.
• Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
• Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
• Review reports on incidents and breaches
• Investigate and resolve security issues
• Create reports for the Chief Security Officer on security status
• Analyze data to form proposals for improvements

Requirements

• Bsc or HND in Security Administration or related fields.
• Proven experience in a security supervisory role, with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or private security is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred.
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform security duties, including standing, walking, patrolling, and responding to emergencies.

• Knowledgeable about pertinent security laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing various computer software, including MS Office, security management platforms, and incident reporting tools.
