Job Description / Responsibilities
- Meeting with potential and actual clients for sales and marketing, on behalf of the company.
- Generate new leads and convert them to sales on behalf of the company
- Demonstrating and presenting products.
- Provide customers with quotations.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Attend trade exhibitions, events, conferences, and meetings, on behalf of the company.
- Reviewing Sales Performance.
- Achieving weekly, monthly and annual targets. s
- Selling products or services to customers, and representing the brand. This can include asking questions to pinpoint the best offerings, giving demos or presentations, and maintaining customer relationships.
- Reaching out to potential leads through a variety of channels, such as physical reach, email, phone, text, and social media.
- Negotiating with leads and using persuasion techniques to overcome objections and landing deals that are beneficial to the company, while also providing customers with optimal value.
- Using a variety of sales strategies and techniques to close deals and achieve their sales goals and targets.
- Submitting and processing orders to ensure customers receive the products or services they request on time.
- Participating in company meetings with sales managers and other sales executives. This usually involves providing a recap of recent results and accomplishments to show they’re hitting their quotas.
- Supervising, managing and overseeing merchandisers/ promoters placed under your care.
- Gathering market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trends.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understanding and promoting company programs.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability.
Requirements
- B.Sc / HND from an accredited institution Professional sales and marketing qualification will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 3 years relevant sales and marketing experience, including 2 years in a similar position in Wines and Spirits/FMCG sector
- Candidate must have extensive sales experience in selling premium wines and spirits in open market, modern trade and horeca
- Candidates must live either in Enugu or Owerri
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Ability to travel extensively
- Excellent negotiation skills with a customer service attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills, self-motivated, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to make decisions independently
