We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Graphic / Visual Communicator

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements, and translate them into visually appealing graphic designs.
• Create a wide range of visual assets, including but not limited to logos, illustrations, infographics, social media graphics, website banners, email templates, and print materials.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand identity across all communication channels.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, techniques, and best practices, and incorporate them into design projects as appropriate.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and visual solutions for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Prepare and present design concepts and proposals to internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary.
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to oversee the production and printing of design materials, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of digital assets and design templates for use by internal teams.
•  Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative ideation processes to generate innovative ideas for design projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Arts, or a related field,
• Proven experience (3 years) working as a graphic designer or visual communicator, preferably in a creative agency or design studio.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, including digital and print materials.
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and composition.
• Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling designs.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate design concepts.
• Atttention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or animation is a plus.
