University of Lagos (UNILAG), a Federal Government University in Lagos, Lagos State, southern Nigeria, has remained one of the best and renowned in the country. Qualifications
- A candidate for this post should normally possess a good first degree and Ph.D. degree in the respective field from a recognised University.
- Candidate must have at least eight (8) years of teaching and research experience since becoming a Lecturer II in a University of comparable institution of higher learning.
- A strong proof of continuing research with appreciable evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals is required in addition to evidence of ability to supervise postgraduate candidates in areas of expertise.
- Candidate must be a registered Engineer with COREN and must have sufficient administrative experience and ability to provide both academic and administrative leadership.
- Candidate must have been a Senior Lecturer for a minimum of three (3) years and must be a specialist in the areas indicated below:
Area of Specification:
- Control Engineering: (Classical Control, Digital Control, Embedded Systems, Neuro-Fuzzy Systems)
- Telecommunications and Computer Networks (Analog and Digital communications Theory; Electromagnetic, Mobile Telephony, Computer Networks, EMC/EMI, Antennas and Radio Wave Propagation).
- Electronics’ Engineering: (Digital Electronics, Analog Electronics, VLSI Opto-Electronics)
- Power Systems Engineering: (Electrical Machines, High Voltage Engineering, Power Electronics; Power systems Control and Stability; Renewable Energy).
- Computer Engineering

CONUASS 6 (N2,053,124.00 – N2,684,096.00) per annum
