We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bancassurance Coordinator

Role Description

  • Coordinate the delivery of the assigned bancassurance sales budget for the unit

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages sales & expense budget of the unit (Bancassurance) being supervised against set targets.
  • Drive Manpower growth and retention for assigned unit and provide support in other areas e.g. training etc. to guarantee retention of the Bancassurance Associates.
  • Responsible for the distribution strategy of leads within the unit under supervision.
  • Identify & create coordinated lead closure opportunities and provide the requisite support for the achievement of the agreed production targets for the unit.
  • Ensures delivery of customer value.
  • Achieve a minimum persistency rate of 70% within the unit.
  • Monitor and track the performance of the Bancassurance Associates and provide guidance and direction to improve below average performance.
  • Provide assistance to the Area Bancassurance Manager in the recruitment, training and retaining of Bancassurance Associates as required.
  • Establish relationships with RMs of Bank Branches
  • Identify/establish offices and post Bancassurance Associates to offices in Bank Branches
  • Ensure the provision of adequate work tools for Bancassurance Associates
  • Ensure and resolve all production and administrative-related issues for the Bancassurance Associates

Job Requirements and Competencies Specification
Academic Qualification & Work Experience:

  • First Degree qualification or its equivalent in Marketing/Sales and other related discipline
  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in financial services or preferably the insurance industry
  • Relevant Professional qualification will be an added advantage
  • Must have a good understanding of the location.

  • Good marketing/sales expertise with strong drive for results.
  • Good communication (Oral and written) skills
  • Good Customer Relationship and Stakeholder Management skills.
  • Good Leadership and Team Management skills
  • Good knowledge of the marketing terrain of the location being applied for
