We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Reporting Personnel

Location:  Lagos
Position type: Full-Time

Summary of Role

  • Managing and analyzing the company's costs to ensure effective financial planning and control.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and adhoc management accounts.
  • Preparation of separate and consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS
  • Review of monthly Balance Sheet schedules and presentation of review comments
  • Ad-hoc analysis & reporting as advised by management.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s comprehensive financial reporting strategy aligned with Company's objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division in Accounting, finance, or a related field required.
  • 7-10 years of experience in audit and assurance, accounting consulting, and preparation of IFRS financial statements with at least three (3) years in a supervisory role, in oil and gas industry
  • Practical Knowledge of IFRS
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost control and cost accounting
  • Qualified Accountant (ICAN, ACCA)
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
