We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manager, External Communications

Location:

Qualifications

  • Generate, implement and manage creative communication strategies for external audiences such as customers, host communities, government, civil society, media, competitors, and the general public.
  • Work cooperatively with various company departments to determine external communication needs and design corresponding plans.
  • Create dynamic content for projects that include adverts, direct mail, case studies, scripts, fact sheets, company profile etc.
  • Develop and manage relationships with relevant media outlets and respond to news media inquiries.
  • Write and distribute press releases, articles, interviews, etc.
  • Utilize media intelligence tools and systems to measure advertising/publicity effectiveness. Also, communicate media sentiment reports to management as at when due.
  • Create and manage content for the company website and other online media outlets.
  • Ensure company-wide adherence to external communication guidelines.
  • Assist in crisis communication planning and execution.
  • Provide quality control of writing, editing, and proofreading of external communications.
  • Maintain a database of external communications activities and events amongst others.
  • Identify, effectively coordinate, report, and publicize Thought Leadership programs, sponsorships, partnerships and external events to positively project the Company’s brand.
  • Provide daily updates of relevant press mentions to management and critical internal stakeholders.
  • Manage freelance writers and agency partners as appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned by Associate Director, Corporate Communications
