Job Summary

• The main purpose of this role is to ensure items get to the designated drop point quickly and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver packages and documents to designated locations within specified timeframes.
• Ensure the safe and secure transport of items by following company protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including recipient signatures and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or concerns.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and delivery equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and maximize efficiency.
• Uphold company values and standards of professionalism always.

Requirements

• SSCE / OND or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a courier or delivery driver.
• Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry packages.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
