Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

  • In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in integrating green energy solutions into our telecommunications infrastructure.
  • You will leverage your deep understanding of electrical systems and your knowledge of renewable energy technologies to design, implement, and manage sustainable power solutions for our network.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems for telecom sites, incorporating green energy sources like solar and wind power.
  • Lead feasibility studies and cost analyses for renewable energy integration projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency across the telecom network.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of green energy solutions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry regulations and safety standards related to electrical systems and renewable energy.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues on green energy integration projects.
  • Stay current on emerging green technologies and best practices within the telecom industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering design and implementation, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully integrating renewable energy solutions into existing infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of electrical power systems, including power distribution, power conversion, and battery storage technologies.
  • Working knowledge of solar, wind, and other relevant renewable energy technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
