Job Description

• Our client in the Pharmaceutical / Cosmetics industry, is looking to hire a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Junior Cosmetics Chemist to join their dynamic team.
• The successful candidate will manage the development and formulation of innovative cosmetic and personal care products.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the most suitable skin care products (creams, lotions, and serums) based on clients’ complexion and preferences
• Develop, formulate, test and suggests cosmetics and beauty products to customers
• Focus all efforts on providing an exceptional customer experience from formulation to production
• Provide live demonstrations of the products.
• Explain product details, including ingredients, price, and application methods
• Identify different skin types and suggesting products as per their requirements.
• Suggesting various kinds of skin care regimes.
• Give product demonstrations and helping customers find products that meet their needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field and additional education in Cosmetology or relevant fields is a plus
• Minimum of 2 - 3 years of proven work experience as a Cosmetic Chemist/formulator and a working knowledge of skin care therapies
• Exceptional ability to know various skin concepts, concerns and of various cosmetics and beauty products.

Must have skills:

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Must possess a presentable personality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills.
