IITA is an international non-profit agricultural research-for-development (R4D) organization established in 1967, governed by a Board of Trustees, and a member of the CGIAR Consortium. Job Title: Field Worker

Locations: Ibadan, Abuja, Kano or Onne
Background and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will among other things perform the following duties:
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of demonstration farms
- Assist to conduct field, laboratory, screen house experiments and sampling with guidance from Supervisor
- Undertake planting and harvesting of crops
- Conduct fertilizer and herbicide applications according to protocols
- Undertake scoring of pest and diseases.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum of WASC with at least 2 years continuous work experience in cassava value chain.
