We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Treasury Accountant
 

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Prompt and accurate recognition of company-wide transactions on Sage:

  • Daily, accurately recognizing all company-wide cash and bank transactions onto sage.
  • Ensuring all supporting documents to both cash and bank transactions are properly filled on the server and physically.
  • Correctly posting all retired cash advances and reconciliation of the same.

Preparation of reconciliations statements:

  • Preparation of reconciliation statements for all the Company's bank accounts.
  • Preparation of reconciliation statements for all current accounts and other receipts control accounts

Managingand reporting on a daily basis, the liquidity position of the company:

  • Daily cash and cash equivalents monitoring and reporting.
  • Processing of foreign currency payments
  • Support the month-end process where necessary
  • Managingand reporting on the foreign currency exposure of the company.

Others:

  • Provide support to financial reporting

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Social Sciences or Management/Accounting (First class or Second class upper).
  • Qualified Accountant - ACA with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position
  • Proficient in the use of Enterprise-wide Accounting Application such as SAGE or SAP and Ms Office packages and Power Point Presentation
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, people management and negotiating skills
  • High awareness of quality issues and attention to details
  • Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment and tact
  • High level of sincerity and honesty with pragmatic and proactive approach to business
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
