Job Description

  • We are seeking a responsible and reliable Company Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Company Driver is to safely transport our staff and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Provide prompt and efficient transportation services to staff, clients, and/or materials as per the schedule or on-demand requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant vehicle information.
  • Respond promptly to any emergency situations or unexpected changes in the transportation schedule.
  • Provide a professional and welcoming demeanor when interacting with staff and clients.
  • Comply with the company's policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional driver or chauffeur and lives within Karimu or Life Camp Axis.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local roads, traffic patterns, and the Karimu or Life Camp Axis area.
  • Strong defensive driving skills and the ability to anticipate and respond to various road conditions.
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations and make sound decisions in a timely manner.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact with staff, clients, and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the cleanliness and proper functioning of the company vehicle.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work occasional overtime or on-call hours, if required.
