Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team.
  • The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial or commercial electrical engineering, with a strong focus on safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics, diagrams, and layouts.
  • Manage and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and regulatory compliance measures.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and develop solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Manage and maintain documentation related to electrical systems and equipment, including specifications, operating manuals, and maintenance records.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on industrial or commercial applications
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution, controls, motors, and instrumentation
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations, including NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and EPA
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • COREN certification is an added advantage.
