Job Summary
- The Chief of Staff to the Group Managing Director will play a critical role in enhancing the effectiveness of our leadership and ensuring strategic initiatives are executed awlessly.
- This position requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and an exceptional ability to solve problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Group Managing Director, providing critical input on business strategy and operational eciency.
- Facilitate the seamless flow of information between the Managing Director and other key executives, ensuring transparency and coordination across the organisation.
- Manage strategic initiatives from development through to successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership.
- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
- Improve current processes and coordinate organisational procedures for optimised efficiency and productivity.
- Organise and prioritise critical issues and required information for the executive to facilitate efficient decision making.
- Attend executive meetings and deliver progress reports to the Managing Director and other stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and the Managing Director, regarding company climate, employee well-being, project updates, and planning.
- Oversee the daily operations of the office of the Managing Director, ensuring all administrative and operational functions are performed eciently and eectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; a Master’s degree is preferable.
- At least 5 years of experience in a business management or executive administrative role, preferably within a multi-sectoral holding company.
- Strong understanding of business functions, corporate strategies, and industry regulations.
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms at all levels of an organisation.
- High degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board Members, senior executives, staff, community leaders, and clients.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organisation skills.
- Discretion with personal and condential information.
Remuneration
- Base Salary (N600,000 to N900,000) exclusive of bonuses.
