Job Title: Head of IT Service Business

Job Summary

  • The Head of IT Service Business is responsible for leading and managing the IT service division to deliver high-quality IT services and solutions to clients.
  • This role involves strategic planning, overseeing service delivery operations, driving business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, manage, and develop the service business team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Set performance goals and objectives for the team and monitor progress.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within the team.

Service Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the service business division.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities to expand service offerings.
  • Align service strategies with the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the service business division.

Service Delivery and Operations:

  • Oversee the delivery of service solutions to ensure they meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Implement and manage service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and maintain processes for efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Ensure the continuous improvement of service operations through feedback and performance analysis.

Business Development and Sales:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the service division.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote service offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address and resolve any customer issues or complaints promptly.
  • Conduct regular meetings with key clients to review service performance and discuss future needs.
  • Implement initiatives to gather and use customer feedback to improve services.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the budget for the service business division.
  • Monitor financial performance and ensure profitability.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
  • Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of customer data.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master's Degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in service management or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective IT service strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Experience with financial management and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in IT service management software and tools (e.g., ITSM, CRM).
